Eagles On Fire Against the Trojans in Soccer

09/18/2014

The Eagles were on fire scoring early and often. Drew Walters led the team with a hat trick (3 goals): first one since Stanley Broaden (2009 graduate). Drew's first goal came at the 1:35 minute mark and the Eagles never looked back scoring three first half goals and added three more in the second. Josh Barnello had two goals; one of which was assisted by Ryan Powers. Defender Zack Smith got his first high school goal to round off the scoring. The defense was stellar in their shut out with Ryan Keller and TJ White sharing keeping responsibilities. Noah Wilcox, Zack Smith Seba Gonzales, Evan Laverick provided the first brick wall in the defense which was shared with Logan Wain, Alex Bautista, and Nick Hancock. It was a great team effort in the 6-0 win over West Brunswick.. The varsity is now 3-4-2 and 2-1 in the conference.

The JV team won by a score 4-0 bringing their record to 5-2 and 2-1 in the conference.
